KNUST Holds Endorsement Interviews for Applicants for 4 Week Pharmacy Practice Mobility Programme at South Dakota State University

As part of the active partnership between KNUST and South Dakota State University, USA an endorsement interview session was held for the 2024 cohort of the Pharmacy Practice Mobility Programme to be held at South Dakota State University in September 2024 at the Conference Room of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Chaired by Prof. Isaac Kingsley Amponsah, the Vice Dean of the Faculty, the panel members included Prof. Daniel Y. A. Duah, Dean of the International Programmes Office (IPO), Prof. Mrs. Cynthia Amaning Danquah and Dr Mrs Mercy Naa Aduele Opare-Addo from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mrs. Yvonne Baiden, Assistant Registrar of the IPO and Dr Adeline Angkosaala, the Faculty Registrar and Secretary for the Panel.

A total of twenty-two (22) applicants were interviewed to gauge their intellectual curiosity, academic performance, and motivation for mobility among others. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and International Programmes Office was impressed with the process and wished all the candidates well.

A total of ten (10) candidates would be endorsed and supported by the Faculty and IPO through the process and the mobility.  Also present were Ms. Michelle Nana Achiaa Bandoh, Hospitality and Operations Officer, Samuel Sarpong, Visibility and Collaborations Officer, both at the International Programmes Office.
