Raphael Johnson is a lecturer at the department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He was born on December 26, 1973, at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region. He had his primary education at the then Ashanti Goldfield Primary School (now AngloGold Ashanti). He passed the Common Entrance Examination in 1987 and gained admission into the Obuasi Secondary Technical School (OSTS). He completed the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) in 1992. He also completed the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in 1994 at the same school. He furthered his studies at KNUST, where he obtained a bachelor of Pharmacy degree and Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), respectively.
